Russian-made Pentax K-mount 35mm TTL SLR camera |
Specifications
|
The standard lens is MC-Helios-44K-4 58mm f/2. This lens is one of the highest-quality lens of the Russian-made lenses. |
Although the metering system built in this camera is stopped-down-aperture metering, normally a view in the finder shows at full aperture. So, focusing can be done at full aperture. Exposure is metered only when the shutter release button is half-depressed and the finder shows preview image. Beside the shutter release button, there is the round-shape shutter speed dial. Because the dial is half-embedded in the camera top, it might take a little time to get used to it. |
The self-timer is set with the dial on camera side. Like zenit122, location and shape of the dial is not so well, too. |
|
The film speed setting dial is at the base of the rewind crank. Compare to the shutter speed dial, this is much easier to use. |
SMC Pentax-M Macro 100mm f/4 is attached to Zenit-212K. Most of the Pentax K lenses are available on it, and of cource, MC-Helios lens can be attached to Pentax's camera body. |
