"Learn
with CD-ROM - Explore the Ancient Tomb" was produced
by Mediajoy based upon the exhibition catalogue for children
entitled "Ancient Tomb Book" published by Osaka
prefectural Chikatsu-Asuka museum, Osaka, Japan.

Every
day, a large number of questions is asked by puplis from all
parts of the country to the Chikatsu-Asuka museum.
- "Why
and what was the tumulus made for?"
- "What
sort of people made the tumulus?"
- "Why
does so many kinds of tumulus' shape exist?" and so forth...
The
museum wove those questions into "Ancient Tomb Book" and also
organized the Tumulus Study class for children.
Based upon the book and the class, Mediajoy produced the CD-ROM
that incorporated the contents which the book or the web site
couldn't offer, and are very confident that this is a very
enjoyable and useful studying material for those - not only
children but also adults - who are interested in the tumulus.

In
Japan, Osaka and Nara prefectures are known as the area where
many tumuli are scattered.
Osaka prefectural Chikatsu-Asuka museum was founded in Chikatsu-Asuka
region where the ancient culture was prosperous and foreign
people came first and foreign culture arrived first in the
Asuka-era, as the information center of Tumulus and Asuka
cultures and also the lifelong learning promotion center.
With the cooperation of the museum, we could gather up abundant
articles and materials into the CD-ROM, and also receive valuable
advises time to time. Now, we are very confident of offering
this multi-media CD-ROM with plentiful content.
